The Amish began to settle in the Tomah, Wisconsin area in 1966, and have rapidly grown in population in the midst of modern evolution. Today, the Amish who settled in Tomah are the largest Amish community in the State of Wisconsin. A scenic drive through the picturesque, rolling hills southeast of Tomah takes you past working Amish farms and homesteads.
